Anyone on here know someone who has done it?

Luckily I saved money well for the past years and I am thinking of going back to school and taking remaining pre-reqs, clinical hours, and volunteering for the next year to prepare an application for the chance to not even get in but at least I can know for sure. Am I naive/foolish?
