Essentially the title. I've been immersing and doing Anki for 2 years so I could finally hit that 10k mark, and now that I'm there I find it more and more of a chore to keep going, and now have a 1k review backlog :(

All of my immersion has been straight from watching Japanese YouTube videos meant for natives (sentence mining via Migaku), so it's easy to understand the gist of more broad-topic videos, but the second I get into more complicated topics or the speakers start saying things beyond the scope of my vocabulary, my comprehension goes out the window.

I'm afraid that if I drop Anki entirely it'll be much harder to learn new vocab. To anybody that's been at this stage, what did you do to help you improve? I've been thinking of suspending a lot of my mature cards, but have held off on it until I've gotten more experienced learners' opinions.

Thanks!!
