I grew up in Makawao, back in the 80’s. Went to Makawao elementary. Lots of fond memories. I loved it there. I am thinking about it a lot lately with my upcoming trip.

Is chow fun still a thing? I remember loving chow fun day at school, and also eating it in other places, Kihei had a food truck that had it. When the annual midway fair came, there were food stands that had it.

We are planning a trip in 4 months. My first time back in 20 years. Any suggestions?
