I was supposed to have an interview with BruntWork, and what happened was honestly disappointing, especially since it already happened twice.
The first time, I was literally in the middle of the interview,Like actively speaking and answering questions, when I was suddenly told that the position had already been filled. No prior notice, no heads-up, just an abrupt stop habang ongoing na yung usapan.
I tried to stay professional and brushed it off, thinking maybe it was just an isolated case. But then I got scheduled for another interview with them, second chance, right? Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. This time, the interview didn’t even push through because it was canceled last minute, and again, the reason was that the position had already been filled.
Twice. Same situation. Same outcome.
It’s honestly disheartening, not just because of the missed opportunity, but because of the time, effort, and preparation you put into something that suddenly disappears without proper communication. I understand that roles can be filled quickly, but at the very least, candidates deserve timely updates and respect for their time.
