Is there hope!!? I got this motherboard for free over a year ago from its previous owner who had scratched it while mounting their cpu fans and they said it didn’t work anymore.
Idk why they didn’t return it or something but I ended up taking it. Now back at home I didn’t know it was ddr5 until after I read its specs (I don’t have ddr5) but anyways I had put on the cpu, gpu, ddr4 ram, psu and powered it on. The debug leds turned on and it seemed everything was working fine except there was no display on the monitor and now realizing that I don’t have ddr5 I’m hoping that was the problem and hopefully that was also the prole the previous owner had. I’m also wondering if there is a chance it works, will the scratch is has affect anything later on? Maybe it comes it contact with sometimes and ends up frying itself.
Edit: I just realized the box they gave me is from a a similar model that says ddr5
Making sense why ddr4 clicked in but since still nothing happened im guessing its most likely dead, thanks for anyone that helped me out understanding😆
