Hey everyone, looking for cleaning advice from people who’ve dealt with this.
I have a long-haired cat who sheds CONSTANTLY. Basically, anything he touches there’s a trail of fur behind him (proof is attached). The problem is I’m also allergic, so it’s annoying to clean and it actually makes it hard to feel comfortable in my own apartment.
I try to vacuum and lint roll, and I run an air purifier, but the purifier doesn’t seem to do much because most of the hair/dander isn’t floating in the air… it’s literally embedded into fabric. My couch is the worst offender. The material it's made of seems to grab the fur off him really easily. I also really hate vacuuming because it makes my back hurt.
One thing that’s been surprisingly helpful is pacagen (their spray). I know its not a literal cleaning product, but it smells pretty good and I definitely sneeze less when I use it even if I slack off on vacuuming for a while.
Because I was able to find that, I got curious. What are your best tips/products for dealing with cat hair/flying allergen balls that people just don’t know about yet? Any advice appreciated, and the easier to use the better!
