Looking for side hustle or extra income? (THIS IS NOT A SCAM)

Hello! Just to clarify, this is a legitimate opportunity and I am not here to scam anyone.

This role is for individuals who are willing to undergo training to help them learn how to present and sell our products effectively.

This is a commission-based job, but your first sale will be guided and supported by one of our managers to help you secure your first win and gain experience.

You may treat this as a side hustle or a full-time career, depending on your dedication and goals. There’s no harm in trying something new, especially if you’re tired of the usual 9–5 setup or feeling micromanaged at work.

If you’re open to learning, improving your communication skills, and exploring an income opportunity, just comment "I'm down". (If you are interested but not sure yet? You can attend one of our build your business BYB session, and you can decide after that.) No pressure. :)

Requirements:

  • College graduate (preferred but not always required)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Open to part-time or full-time applicants
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to undergo training and mentoring
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Sales or customer service experience is an advantage
  • Has a stable internet connection and personal device (laptop/mobile phone)
  • Can work in a hybrid or remote setup
  • Willing to take the Insurance Commission licensure exam
  • Passionate about helping clients with financial planning and savings
  • Active on social media is a plus

Role: Financial Advisor
Compensation: 15-30% commision in every sale
For example: Client wants a 500k worth of product multiplied by 15%-30%, and you'll get that.

Looks so simple but you have to work hard to earn that, and most of my Agents/Advisors do full-time because of that.

Company Name: PRU LIFE UK

Comment "I'm down" if you're interested.

Pru Life UK invited me to become a Recruitment Officer but I honestly feel lost

I’m currently connected with Pru Life UK and they invited me to become a Recruitment Officer to help find future Financial Advisors. At first I got excited because I thought there would be proper training and guidance, but right now I honestly feel very lost.

They gave me a quota of getting 10 people within 3 months, but the only guidance I’ve received so far is basically:

* Watch some videos * Do manual recruiting * Reach out to people online/offline

No structured training, no clear process, no mentorship that’s hands-on. I’m trying my best doing cold messages, LinkedIn connections, Facebook posting, and talking to people, but most people either ignore me or lose interest quickly.

I also feel awkward because I don’t want to sound too salesy or desperate when approaching people. Sometimes I even question if I’m doing things correctly at all.

For those who worked in insurance recruitment, financial advising, or networking-related roles:

* Is this normal? * How did you get your first recruits? * What actually works when finding people interested in becoming Financial Advisors? * How do you avoid burning out from rejection?

I genuinely want to improve and do well, but right now I feel overwhelmed and directionless. Any advice would really help.
