So i decided to try the new ranked changes. Solo q when?
So i’m not a casual player at all. I mainly play ranked and hit diamond every season through solo q. But Embark, what exactly do you expect solo players to do rn? I’m constantly fighting stacked ruby teams and getting first-rounded ALL THE FUCKING TIME because of griefing. I grind for +500 RS, then lose one game and instantly eat -1200. Amazing system, tnx so much gg. The funniest part is that performing well literally punishes you, because the better you do, the more likely you are to get griefed. Great reward structure. what’s the point of making these “new” systems and adjusting RS if fair play doesn’t even exist in the first place when you’re putting solos against stacks?
It’s been 10 seasons. How is personal RS supposed to represent personal skill when EVERY HIGH RANK LOBBY is full of premades on comms? Every serious competitive game has solo q, because everyone knows solo rating is the real measure of individual skill. Somehow The Finals does the complete opposite. You give solo players random teammates who don’t join voice, don’t type, don’t listen, then throw them against coordinated 3-stacks like that’s a fair match.
Make solo q already. I’m done for this season. gl folks.
