TVP Transfer Question
Hi all,
Sorry to post another one of these ‘what’s it like to transfer’ post but after looking at this page I can’t see one less than 3 years old for TVP. I’m a Met PC, ex-Surrey PC before that. Currently in a specialist role but for various reasons I might be being sent back to response. I live in TVP ground (near Bracknell) and having worked both Met and county response, if I have to go to response I’d rather go to a county and am intrigued by TVP.
Just wondering what ICR is like, is there an investigation/volume crime team type thing or do response officers keep all the crimes they go to (I know Surrey and Met have recently introduced these types of teams) and just generally how morale is and if people enjoy it? Also just wondering what the likelihood is of being actually being posted where I request (thinking of requesting Windsor, Maidenhead or Wokingham)?
