Pixie dust for boys

I’m heading on a trip on the Adventure in July with my mum, sister and her two kids.

My sister has suggested that it might be fun to get involved in pixie dusting - it didn’t seem to be much of a thing on the wonder when we met but seems to be really popular on the adventure.

I make hair bows using my cricut and will bring some Disney inspired ones for my niece (7) and nephew (5) to be able to give out as pixie dust. I’m just worried that my nephew will end up feeling left out if all the gifts we bring will be just for girls.

Does anyone have any recommendations for pixie dust gifts for younger boys?

Defining games

I’m still on a high from last night.

I didn’t expect we’d win all week, up until Hayden Young kicked that final goal. I thought we were actually going to see a repeat of last years elimination final just before he kicked it.

I feel like last night the team proved to themselves, us supporters and any other fan who doesn’t hate freo that this team IS actually good, and can take on the psychological pressure of a big stakes, high pressure match.

Unlike the success we enjoyed during the Pav era, we aren’t just reliant on a couple of players to get us over the line. The smart recruiting decisions made over the last 5 or so years are really paying off.

I feel like Freos biggest priority right now is the long game - it’s a long road to the end of the year or even 2027, particularly with all the travel they do. The team is showing an edge and determination I’ve seen sparks of before, but it really is here. Given we will be without Pearce for a couple of weeks, the other members of the leadership group will need to step into their potential.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but I’m really excited by the talent, depth, passion and drive that this playing group are showing.

When we win a flag one day, I feel like last night could be the game where the players and supporters will look back to, and say yep, that was when it really started to feel possible.
