Hello everyone,

I am a 31-year-old man diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) (erosive esophagitis type LA-B) and Hill classification class II GERD.

My esophageal manometry is normal (esophageal motility is normal), and I don't experience severe reflux, but I do have the following symptoms:

- Frequent heartburn

- Pain and inflammation in my esophagus

- Occasional cough and sore throat

I am currently taking a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) (fenoprazole), but my symptoms keep returning.

I am considering the following treatments:

- GERDX

- ARMA

- Stretta

I would really like to hear from people who have undergone one of these treatments:

  1. Which treatment did you choose?

  2. How much did your symptoms improve?

  3. Did you stop taking the medication completely?

  4. Did you experience any side effects or complications?

  5. Would you recommend it?

Also:

- Which country/hospital did you go to?

- Approximate cost?

I'm primarily looking for a long-term solution, not just temporary relief.

Thank you so much 🙏
