So my 15 week old can only fall asleep on my chest specifically/ on my lap snuggled into my arm. The most she’s ever slept without me was in a carry cot whilst being actively pushed for about 35 mins, but most of the time she won’t even sleep in that.

I would really like to transition her to the typical cosleeping position next to me rather than on me as she’s getting heavier now and my lower back is suffering a bit, it’s also getting hotter now and on the hot nights she’s very restless on me but still, won’t sleep without being on me.

So mothers who had babies that would only chestsleep, did they naturally stop once they got too big or did you have to train them out of it? If so what tricks worked on making them sleep next to you?
