I'm an international student graduating this spring and planning to apply for post-completion OPT. I'm interested in starting OMSA in the future but my DSO gave me a conservative "no", said enrolling in any credit-bearing coursework toward a degree while on OPT could be viewed as terminating my employment authorization, even for a fully online program with no SEVIS record.

Since OMSA has no F-1 or SEVIS requirement, I'm curious whether anyone has actually enrolled while working full-time on OPT and whether it caused any issues. I understand it's a gray area — just looking for real experiences, not official advice.
