Beast Barbarian Multiclassing [5e]

Hi, I’m playing a beast barbarian shifter with longtooth, currently at level 4, we will be going to level 10. My stats are str 20, dex 16, con 16, int 8, wis 12, cha 9. I took skill expert for athletics expertise at 4.

Currently playing with the claws and shifter bite for 3 attacks at level 4 and 4 attacks at level 5, giving me room in my action economy to be grappling frequently. I’m looking to be playing a lot around the level 6 bestial soul jump ability once I get it and will likely be doing everything in my power to get my hands on a ring of feather falling. I briefly played this build at level 7 and enjoyed grappling, jumping, and suplexing people into the ground, injuring everyone involved.

Looking at my last two levels in Barbarian, (9 and 10) I am unsure if I want to spend them somewhere else. I get 1 more rage damage, brutal critical, and Infectious fury. Brutal critical seems like it would be better at higher levels than it is at 9, especially when my damage dies are all D6s, however I do roll 2-4 attacks at advantage every turn so I’m likely to proc it more often. Infectious fury is admittedly good.

If I were to multiclass out what are my options? Currently I’m looking at maybe two levels of fighter for action surge. I’m also very open to multiclassing out at 8 for a second subclass and missing my level 8 ASI, which probably would just go into CON otherwise. Does anyone have any ideas? I am overwhelmed by options and I might be making a mistake by even multiclassing out in the first place. Infectious fury is pretty good.

Thanks!

[Question] Is Defensive Duelist a mistake on my Oath of Noble Genies Paladin?

The campaign is 2024 and is going from 3-12 with the possibility to go a few levels over. Starting stats are STR 8, DEX 17, CON 14, INT 8, WIS 10, CHA 16. My species is a homebrew drow that gets booming blade and absorb elements in addition to darkness, no faerie fire. Origin feat is skilled because I like having skill proficiencies, I know its not optimal😅

My current plan is to take Defensive Duelist and a DEX increase at level 4, and +2 CHA and +2 DEX at levels 8 and 12 respectively. Dual wielding scimitar and shortsword with two weapon fighting as my fighting style.

I went with defensive duelist as my one feat because I'm a bit worried about my low CON and AC as I'm using the noble genies unarmored defense only, I'm worried its a mistake when things like sentinel are touted as being so powerful. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if I'm making a bad choice here, especially since my origin feat and species were not picked with optimization in mind. If I am, is there a better feat? People seem to like spellfire spark, sentinel, dual wielder but again, I only have room for one.
