Currently have an almost 5.5 month old who has started rolling both ways but is getting more efficient each day. She has been a decent sleeper, but we have definitely gone through some regressions. They are usually associated with a mild sickness or a new skill. We did some loose sleep training after the end range of 4 going into 5 month regression, and that worked really well for about 10 days. But now she’s rolling from her back onto her side/tummy more consistently in her sleep. She will sleep like that for a while, but she’s been waking up 2-4 times at night again. I understand that 2 times a night is normal for a 6month old but I also know she can go 10hours without waking. I do try to feed sometimes but typically she falls asleep pretty quickly on the boob so I don’t think she’s actually hungry. I’m wondering if she’s getting too close to the crib edge, with her arm hanging out that she can’t push herself back over if wanted. Not so much concerned that she can’t breathe because she moves her head just fine but more concerned about her comfort. Even in earlier days before rolling, we would often go in to find her 90 degrees with her head and feet touching the side rails. Some mornings she’d manage to be 180. We have a small nursery that’s Also my husband’s hybrid office and don’t have much room to spare.
Wondering if any mini crib users ever transitioned to full crib and if it helped? Also wondering how long people were able to use their mini crib for?
TIA
