Every game there are several moving screen calls going both ways, and I have absolutely no idea what the difference between a legal and an illegal screen is anymore. Even within the exact same game, players will do the same action and one player will get an offensive foul, and the other will not.

It really feels like the refs are just watching to see if the defender stumbles or falls on the screen, and then they call it every time. I don’t blame them, because calling every single one would slow the game to a halt. I just don’t like watching the game and wondering why one thing was called and another wasn’t.

I would just appreciate if they purposed a change in the offseason where screens had to actually be legal now, and any illegal screens would be called. Its probably a decade too late but I’m getting sick of it.
