Single siwash, spinners, line twist
Do y'all feel like replacing trebles with single siwash of a comparable size screws up the action of inline spinners?
The cool Reddit thing to recommend is to swap all trebles for single siwash (or inline for plugs).
I've taken to doing this, and even mostly use single siwash on the spinners I twist up myself.
Today however I couldn't help but notice that my Panther Martin which I swapped to single inline was just spinning like crazy, single inline hook and all.
I'm using a small bb swivel a foot up the line, but any ultralight angler worth their salt knows that even a bb swivel can be woefully inadequate when it comes to mitigating line twist on light braid main line.
Thoughts? I have to wonder if the ever so slightly more massive and symmetrical treble somehow results in less line twist, better action, or some combination of both?
