Hi all !

I am seeing a lot of posts about " Cybersecurity is not an entry job " and everything like that.

To be fair no I dont have any professional experience but I do have a lot of personnal ( fix system in my crurent job because IT guys cant do it , fixing Friends and family computers etc … )

I have 6 CVE under my name , Google cybersecurity certificate , almost done the CWES hackthebox and a few tools I code myself in Python to help me in bug bounty.

I know I am not ready to land a job but is the IT help desk is always necessary ? I mean I have a house , a family and here ( in Canada ) and I cant do a job that paid 65-70k a year , my current job is safe for now , well paid but I am tired of that. ( not related in IT )

Id like advise from hiring manager or professional already in the field

Thanks
