With Twitch now allowing ANY streamer to use Affiliate perks aside from ads, is there any reason for a small streamer to ever want to be affiliate?

If all affiliate gives is ads, why would a small streamer EVER want to become an affiliate? As a small streamer myself (20 average), I genetate about $2 per 4 hour stream with ads set to the lowest possible amount (3 mins every hour).

I would rather lose out on that $2 if that meant people wouldnt quit watching when an ad hit. Some claim this does not happen but it certainly does.

So whats the point of being an affiliate now...? It is genuinely harder to retain viewers for a long period of time when ads are involved, and as a small streamer they do not benefit you at all.

It was terrible.

I dreamed last night that I was on the shuttle for day three of EDC and I had no recollection of what happened on days one and two. All the sets I couldn’t wait to see were behind me, and not a single memory was made.

Thank goodness I woke up from that horrible nightmare and realized EDC is still a week away!

I know ppl go as couples, and in huge groups. But what was your experience if you went with just one friend? Im super close with the friend im going with but im a little anxious about it for some reason. My group (about 6 people) used to go to tons of festivals, but everyone was busy EDC weekend this year so its just me and my friend. Part of me is just worried its not gonna be as fun I guess.
