24F looking to discuss literally anything!

Hi! I’m 24f (almost 25 next week hehe) I love arts and crafts, shopping, cooking, and watching horror movies/crime documentaries. Days are pretty long but open to chatting about anything/passing the time :)

Tell me a good scary movie/crime documentary while I’m having a lazy Tuesday 😋🫶🏻

Always been confused about my color palette but I definitely think oranges and pinks fit me perfectly <3!

Hello! This may fall into the topic of the afterlife or maybe something else entirely, but I wanted to share this story because it genuinely unsettled me.

I’m 24F, and last night I was scrolling through really old photos from when I was a teenager and came across a picture I had taken at my grandmother’s house. A little backstory: I lived there for quite some time. My grandfather was very ill during that period and was in and out of the hospital a lot, so my grandmother would often leave to go be with him while I stayed home alone.

Since I was a teenager, I mostly spent my time doing normal teen things like taking selfies, listening to music, and hanging around the house. One day I decided to take a selfie in front of the open refrigerator because the lighting was surprisingly good.

Fast forward to yesterday. I looked at the photo again for the first time in years and noticed something behind me that I had never seen before. I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. It looks very clearly like a female face, and the feeling I get from it is really unsettling, almost like it had bad intentions.

What makes it stranger is that the kitchen was extremely small, almost like a narrow hallway. Behind me would’ve only been the dishwasher and cabinets. I was completely alone at the time.

As far as I knew back then, there weren’t any women in my family who had passed away in that house or had any connection to it. I’m curious what others think. Could this just be pareidolia or lighting/shadows playing tricks, or does anyone here believe this could actually be some kind of spirit? And if so, what do you think it could’ve wanted?

Yes, the photo is heavily filtered with a black-and-white effect, and unfortunately I no longer have access to the unfiltered version, so this is all I have.

My grandfather ended up passing away a couple of years later, but by then I had already moved out of my grandparents’ house.

Another thing I’ve started realizing while thinking back on all of this is that before he became unconscious at home and had to be hospitalized again before he passed, he kept asking my grandmother, “Where is ___(me)? Tell her to come in here, I just saw her.”

That part has honestly stuck with me ever since.

I’m 24 I have my BS in criminal justice I love scary movies and my main hobby is up cycling vintage finds and incorporate them into my home. I have a sweet 10 month old and the days get lonely. Also open to talking about conspiracy theories or giving advice. (I’ve been told I’m a pretty good “therapist”) 😊🤍
