Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some advice as to what I should do or if this has happened to anyone before. I've had chalazions and styes before but after doing a warm compress they usually go away in a couple of days and weeks.
Last year, on March 2025, I got a chalazion that you can see on the first picture. I did the usual warm compresses but after not going away for 3 months I went to a doctor. They basically told me there wasn't much to do except to just keep trying the warm compresses.
Its now May 2026, a full year afterwards. The chalaIazion has gotten smaller but nevertheless my eyelid is a little inflamed as you can see on the second picture and I can feel a bump when I touch it.
What should I do? Should I keep doing the warm compresseses? Should I go back to the doctor? I need a referral from my low-cost clinic I'm enrolled in first before seeing an opthalmologist. I'm scared that I'll be dismissed because the problem seems so small but I just want this gone
