First squad competed since deciding on konflikt

Finished my squad of mk2 armoured soviets last night. Since deciding with my friend a few weeks back to each build an army I've ended up with Soviets and British forces 🤣. Decided to try something different colour wise to try and keep the red army vibe. Got a squad of mk1's to paint next in a similar but maybe slightly more aged feel again. My instagram is cogpaints if anyone really wants to follow a very amateur painter slowly build up to their first game!

I have so much death guard to paint it's ridiculous - this however is the first I've got round to painting. Cc and advice more than welcome 🙏

Really basic question/advice. My friend and I played an introductory scenario at a local gaming event. We loved it and are looking at getting a starter army box each just to get up and running. We will undoubtedly add further over this year. He is interested in Japan and myself probably British.

Our query is what other purchases do we need to play the game and what's the best way to get it. For instance if we need to get the full rulebook is it better to buy it stand alone or get it in another box. If it's in an intro box or something I wouldn't be adverse to selling parts that we don't need to look after the pennys etc.

Thanks all - really looking forward to getting started.
