Not my best work. But serviceable and got rid of a lot of my scrap wood.

I picked this barrel up a few weeks back on FB Marketplace.

I used some plans I found online (will post in comments) and put this together at the weekend. I found it to be quite straightforward and didn’t really require too much in the way of tools.

Sanding was difficult though. Does anyone have any experience with sanding down Whisky / Bourbon barrels ? I used an orbital from 60 to 80 to 120 grit. Anyone got any tips on sanding as I am planning to make another 2.
