Hi everyone I just started homelabbing and selfhosting and so far it's been a lot of fun, but I have run into a problem trying to set up sonarr.
I'm using Ubuntu Server to try and set up sonarr using docker compose with the docker image from linuxserverIO and having trouble with the PUID and GUID.
If I set it to my user and group ID it works but I can't select a root media on sonarr, it says "the folder is not writeable by user abc"
The folder is in a external SSD and already tried changing the read and write permissions using chmod and chown but it doesn't work, the only way I managed to set a root folder is by Putting the PUID and GUID to 0 (which to my understanding is root) is this okay? I don't know much but I think I shouldn't want to use root becuase is less secure.
Any help is appreciated.
