My experience with TVN in ohio (it was NOT good)
Hi, my names Alex (mtf16), I just got out of TSC at The Village Network 3 months ago. While I was in there, I got a girl named A (f15, named redacted for her privacy) pregnant; it's a long story. It was a boy-girl combined facility, and the doors didn't lock on the bedrooms. I should specify, I'm a trans girl (MTF), but they had me on the boys wing of the facility, and it's really easy to sneak over to the bedrooms on the girls' side, but that's besides the point. That was just background information before we get to the main story.
So while I was in there, she took a pee test, and it came back positive. The supervisor, Mariah, lied to A and her case worker (she's in the foster system) IN FRONT OF ME and said my parents were pressing charges against her if she ever was in contact with me after we got out. Now I knew this was a lie; my mom went through a teen pregnancy, having me, so I knew she wouldn't leave A on her own, and my mom confirmed this to me and called the village and went off on them (reasonably).
About 2 months later, my IHBT therapist, who works for the village, informed me I "didn't have to worry anymore," referring to her being pregnant. I believe they are still lying to me about her to avoid the fact that they had 2 teens in the facility who ended up having intercourse. I miss her so much, and I just want to make sure she's okay, she's still in TVN.
If anyone has any advice to help me please do. Do I have any right to reach out myself? Do I have any rights to request medical records? I just don't know what to do, I want to know she's okay, I want to know that the baby is okay (if they were lying). I feel like I cant trust anyone anymore.
