KCRG reported today that Iowa City Community School District can't get a $25 million dollar loan because the banks the district approached didn't want it. The district had a Moody's bond rating and now doesn't. On Facebook, the deadline to end administrator contracts is approaching. The board president isn't asking enough tough questions. The superintendent is still in charge. Two members of the board are asking tough questions, Finch and Lingo. One board member doesn't believe there is a crisis, and there aren't enough board member votes to replace the management that got the district in this position. The superintendent is still going ahead to figure out a $14 million dollar pool contribution but no one is saying where the money is going to come from. Let's be all in for all kids. Do you support accountability? The board needs to hear from more voters. You can email them at board@iowacityschools.org
