In terms of fountain pens this is what I found:

• Fine or extra‑fine nibs with relatively dry inks: generally fine, with maybe some ghosting on the reverse but little or no bleed‑through.
• Medium/broad or wet nibs, saturated or sheening inks: likely some feathering and bleed‑through, especially on downstrokes and where you pause; envelopes often perform a bit worse than sheets on this kind of stock.

If your baseline is Rhodia, Clairefontaine, Midori MD, or Tomoe River, Pepin will feel more absorbent, with faster dry times but less crisp lines and less sheen; think “good commercial stationery” rather than “enthusiast‑grade FP paper.”

The material of the casing provides high-grade resin and it takes month until it is finished, whereupon the tailor-made plating is curved and cut into a contour using a natural diamond.
