Did I overpay like crazy?

It’s not too late to return it, I have 24 hours if the price turns out to be crazy like I think. I bought an 18k gold necklace for my mom. The pendant is 2.4g, chain is 1g. It’s custom engraved, with the names of the family, some dates, stars, and two little gems. The price was ~$800 which I’m realizing just now seems crazy?
I’ve never bought jewelry before, let alone gold so I wasn’t too sure what was appropriate. Can’t ask my mom since it’s a gift, I don’t want her to know the price.
Should I cancel the order or is how much it’s going to cost regardless considering the customization?

What do moms like?

I really want to get her something nice this year, but gift giving’s never really been my strong suit. A personalized bracelet seems like something right? I drew her and my dad’s hand with the plan to get it engraved a gold piece but it feels off? To all the moms out there (or anyone who’s willing to give an opinion), is this something you’d actually want to wear or is it something messy you have to say you like since it’s your kid that’s giving it to you?

Is there anything I can do to change it from a design pov? Should I switch ideas entirely?

What should I put on the other side as well? I was thinking of the date with a little gem, but would something related to her kids be better or just more clutter?

Btw the photo is my mockup, I have no idea how it’ll actually turn out

Thank you

Tuna slop lunch (350c 45p)

There’s something about slop food that’s so fulfilling. The soy sauce was definitely needed though, we don’t talk about the taste before its addition

1 can tuna
2 packets Konjac rice
200g cucumber
150g 0% Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp soy sauce
4 packets seaweed

350 calories
45g protein

Is this baby safe?

I’m using supposed cashmere yarn to make a baby dress but it’s keeps shedding onto my hands as I work. I’ve never worked with wool so I’m not sure if this is normal but I want to make sure this is something that a baby can wear. I don’t want her to develop any respiratory issues from breathing in the fibers.
Is this just how wool acts? Will it be fine after I block it?
The tag says it’s 100% cashmere (山羊绒)
