Hi. It's probably a known issue, but honestly, I have tried almost everything. The built in speakers on my Asus are unusable.

Everyhting is reinstalled, I have tried reinstalling drivers, checking to see if they are connected in BIOS, it plays the open sound at the start, so its not a hardware problem. They are muted and the volume controls are greyed out. It says they do not recognise any output devices.

Any suggestions (besides drivers, which I already tried), would be very helpful. Thanks.
