Please read: Getting back into my account after losing my Authenticator app
So I was trying to get back into my account after losing the Authenticator app. I lost the codes too. Account has no selfies nor my real name because it was an art account.
I somehow got the Meta Ai bot to get me in contact with an agent named Pheobe. She asked me things about the account to prove it was mine and I passed. She said she removed the 2fa and everything. She sent me a link to log back into the account but I got stuck on a loading screen and it wouldn’t work. Then we were suddenly disconnected and the chat was closed. I asked Meta Ai to get me in contact with someone again but it said it couldn’t? And that it never could. But I have screenshots of her generating back up codes for me. What happened? Can anyone tell me what happened?
I lost my codes cuz my device was stolen and trashed btw. I didn’t expect it to happen. I don’t even know why I bothered setting 2fa up.
