My Story to Follow

Posted the other day about being 35 and going for orchi

Been head down in research since but I want to show my story since there’s not too many raw behind the scenes stories. This has been excruciating for me so far, so maybe someone can find value in following along

I have contacted dr einhorn and colleagues. Orch or frozen section partial are reasonable approaches, so I’ll be back in a couple days (hopefully) with updates

I framed the ceiling of my garage and painted the wood black. Noticed one of the joists was warped a bit toward one end pictured. I did the project early March and never paid much attention afterward, so no clue how long it’s been like this.

The wood is level, the ceiling are level, and there’s no sag between the joists.

I know lumber can do this, but anything to worry about in general?

What type mortar would I use for these interior walls on a 1939 garage? Recently had the foundation stabilized and looking to try tuckpointing myself

Did some research and it looks like type N mortar?

Any other advice would be great!

Looking at using an angle grinder to get into the joints then do the tuckpointing.
