My bass suddenly stopped working

Hi all - I've been playing about 35 years and for the last 20 been exclusively using a Dean Q-4 Bartolini bass. Tonight at band practice it's suddenly stopped working.

I have two questions really - first of all, can anyone think why? I don't really have any details other than it's not sending any signal to the amp or my pedal. Used multiple leads so it's not that, I'm wondering if it's the jack, but don't know how I'd fix that.

Second, we have two gigs at the weekend so if I can't fix it or get it fixed I'm going to have to pick up a cheap bass to use temporarily. Can anyone recommend anything that sounds half decent for under £150? I know I'm asking a lot there, but are any of the super budget models better than any of the others?

I'm UK based, by the way.

Hi all - a while back I noticed I had a headlight out and a rear light. I replaced the headlights no problem, but for whatever reason didn't get round to the rear light. I've got an MOT coming up so need to sort it before next weekend.

Does anyone know what bulb I need for the rear light? It's not the brake light, just the rear light that comes on when you turn the headlights on. Sorry, not very technical, I'm not really a car person. The headlights were easy to replace but for some reason I thought this would be more tricky and put it off, but I need to fix it now asap!
