The one where...a brooch almost starts WW3.

So, originally I was going to do Tim Dalton in A View to a Kill as my next fictional movie project, but I ended up getting sidetracked by the idea of Dalton starting out in 1983, and I thought it would be interesting if his first movie sort of establishes his timeline and some of the people and themes that will come up again in the future. The reason I chose Property of a Lady for Dalton's debut instead of Octopussy (even though Property of a Lady was the canceled 1991 project), is because I honestly don't feel like Octopussy is really the best starting point for Tim and it would just need too much revision for it to work, which is why I went in a different direction. Now with this adaptation, yeah, it has nothing to do with the original Fleming story aside from the title, which let's face it, is tradition. It's honestly more like an updated From Russia With Love with higher stakes. It leans a lot more into detective work, grounded fight scenes, and slowly builds into (hopefully) an exciting climax. Featured locations are LA, multiple parts of France (Marseilles, Paris, the countryside), Amsterdam, and Norway. Despite ditching the Octopussy plot and title, I'm still keeping Orlov because I was able to rework his character into another role in this plot, I'm also introducing Pushkin to have this be the first meeting between him and Bond (setting up TLD) and bringing back David Hedison as Felix (setting up LTK). I used a brooch as the "property of a lady" because I kind of liked the idea of the "small thing leads to major consequences" trope, and also the Faberge egg thing was a bit too silly for my liking. And that's about all I have to say about this one honestly. Thanks to everyone who read this far, and I sincerely apologize to all the fans of Octopussy out there. These ideas are just for fun and I have nothing against the movie.

Edit: changed the third question

1 - Rank the Bonds on how good they would be as a main Bond villain. Assume all of them are in their prime age during their Bond tenure (Eg. Roger is 45, Connery is mid 30s etc.).

2 - Same question, but now they can be any age you want them to be. Would your ranking change at all?

3 - Which Bond would you want each villainous Bond actor to go against? (Eg. villain Dalton going up against Moore’s Bond)
