I'm new to digital marketing and I don't have a relevant degree during college. It just happened that I'm fairly decent with creating graphic designs. My question is, does your lifestyle affect your effectivity is digital marketing? I'm living in the countryside and lives a minimalist lifestyle. I don't go out that much and dont interact with other people unless necessary. I think I'm loosing the interest in digital marketing even if I've only started. I thought it was something that I was gonna become good at.

Could this be because I just haven't had any training or mentor when I started? Do I just need more exposure to the field or do I need to somehow upgrade my lifestyle? I just noticed that most of the digital marketers I see online have good taste in fashion, pamper themselves, and travel or atleast go out/socialize as often as they can.

Could social status also affect how good you become?

I'm torn right now if I should stay with this client or leave for the both of us. I've been working with him for a year now as a part time associate. My task is generally social media and marketing, but I also help with some admin tasks. Pero I think I'm demotivated to work for him na and it makes me feel so bad.

For the past months, I've had delays and inconsistencies sa work, but he's always saying na it's alright and I should just bounce back next time daw. Pero this makes me feel bad for him kasi I can feel na he becomes frustrated sometimes pero tinatago nya lang sakin, maybe because he's kind.

I know I should be grateful but I also want to give him that opportunity to be working with someone na fully committed and would do the job right. I don't know if this is just commitment issues (because personally, I have this), pero I'm not sure if leaving is the best choice because he's given me a million chances and I don't want him to feel that those were wasted chances.

Pay is ok at $6/hr. Understandably, hindi ako maka bonus or increase rate bc of my performance.

To those who've had the same feeling towards a client before, how do you deal with this?

PS. I know this might sound insensitive to those who are struggling to land a client, but it's really a struggle for me. Also, I have ADHD, which I think is the main reason why I find it so hard to do my tasks without motivation. Thanks!
