Hi everyone! I'm looking for queer coming-of-age novels (preferably not older than the 90's, but it's not that important).
What I'm really interested in is not romance-focused stories, but more: identity, feeling out of place, friendships, growing up, coming out, social anxiety, etc.
A small amount of romance is fine, but I'm not looking for love stories as the main focus.
Bonus points if it's realistic, set in school/high school or young adulthood, and has strong "bildungsroman" vibes. I'm also open to lesser-known or out-of-print.
Thanks in advance!
