I try not listen to reviews too much, doing so allowed me to find some really good gems that I loved but, maybe I should have listened about this one.
I’m on Chapter 93 and I am so confused. I liked the premise and the beginning, and I really wanted to see how everything would unfold, but unless I’ve been reading with my eyes closed, what is actually happening right now?
One second she is in Lundisela (or however you spell it), and then her son appears out of nowhere with zero explanation. Next, the prince dies and Karlon is found "guilty." One panel later, he is dead and she is back home. 2 sec after that, she takes her husband’s hand and goes to bed with him, she even has that entire monologue: "If I take his hand, I’ll go back to being ignorant," yada yada. Then she wakes up crying and asking for a divorce
Not even two seconds later, they are divorced, she gives up custody of her child (which, btw, the entire manhwa was supposed to be about her making up with him???), and now she’s the Marchioness. All of this happened in what, 3 to 5 chapters ? Maybe less?
Unless I missed entire chapters, what is with this horrendous storytelling? I’ve read manhwas that were rushed, but this takes the cake.
Did she not find it weird that everyone was in mourning clothes except for him? Also, I couldn't help but notice how she jumps from disliking and arguing with her husband to being nice and sympathetic toward him in the very next second.
Am I missing something here? I have whiplash. A good 15 ch or so have been crammed in barely 4-5 and all the logic went out the window. There's so many other things I could say but I have no patience. I feel like I wasted my time. 😒
