So I’m not too far into Brimstone (Chapter 9) and am hoping someone can help me verify a plot hole. Not sure if maybe it will be explained later or if it is truly a plot hole. In Quicksilver, Saeris asks Layne how old she and Fischer are. I can’t remember the exact numbers and don’t feel like searching, but I remember them being a few hundred years apart with Fischer being older. In Brimstone, Fischer says his mom died when he’s 14 but his mom is also Layne’s mom. How? Truly a plot hole or will it be explained later?
