I bought a cheap Rawlings player preferred 5 years ago when my son started tball. He loves the sport and pretty much has played nearly year round in that time. For the past few years I’ve been a little league assistant coach and whether or not that continues I still will be his primary practice partner for the foreseeable future. Is it time to spend some money on an a2000 or heart of hide? Is there something else you would recommend for casual use that will hopefully last me awhile longer?
