I’m a former employee who worked under Larry Jackson at Gamma, and after seeing the recent leaks, a lot of it feels familiar.
From what I experienced, there were consistent issues with how things were run, disorganized rollouts, last-minute changes, and projects running into problems like clearances. There were also internal conversations about numbers (sales/streams) that didn’t always match up after adjustments.
What stood out most was the gap between what was promised and what actually happened. It often felt like expectations were set high, but execution didn’t follow through.
I also saw artists come in, release one project, and then move on pretty quickly.
I can’t verify everything being said publicly, but based on my time there, I understand why people are questioning things now.
