I've asked around but this is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm 3 weeks out on a total hip replacement. I'm walking, doing my exercises etc. this is what I want feed back on!? When I say I'm walking (about 2 blocks) exercises 2-3 times a day. Icing/ elevation 2-3 times a day! Is this enough? Yesterday for example; (it was a miserable day) I walked 700-800 steps. Did my post op exercises, 15 exercises 15 reps, 2 times. Towards evening I ached big time. When I went to bed, I elevated for 20 minutes. I woke up twice last night and still had/have some serious aches/stiffness. What do you think? To much, not enough?
