Follow Up to Feedback Request Last Week
Hi All! You were all super helpful to my post last week asking for feedback on my raised beds, so I wanted to share the end result (well, hopefully the beginning...)

My husband built me two beds and I decided to try hugelkultur to hopefully help with water retention. So, he scrounged up a ton of logs and we did layering of logs, cardboard, and yard waste. Then topsoil and compost on top.
I took suggestions from you wise folks so hopefully this garden will take off. I also cut way back on cucumbers (haha). I topped it off with mulch for water retention. I'm going to wait and do succession planting with the lettuce and the pole beans are just seeds, so I'll wait to plant those for a bit.
My husband took a cattle panel and used it for the two terraces. I plan to go whisper sweet nothings to my plants each night. haha
