We are starting a astronomy club in our university and decided to get a Celestron NexStar 8SE as our primary telescrope. I wanted to know which tools and attachments are abosolutely necessary for a 8 inch SCT setup as we are very new to this. We would love to get your insight.

I saw that this Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit – 1.25 and saw a lot of mixed opinions on it online. Is it a good purchase?

Budget - 1 lakh rupees

Observing goals - Stars, constellation, planets and if possible nebulas, star clusters and galaxies.
