Subject: Seeking Advice: Transitioning from Pre-assembled to Custom Setup (Yinhe T-11+ & DHS H3 Neo)

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using a pre-assembled Xushaofa T-5008 blade, but I’ve customized the forehand with a DHS Hurricane 3 Neo. I absolutely love this rubber; it feels perfect for my playstyle. However, I’m struggling with my backhand. Although my coach says my technique is solid, I feel like I have to put too much physical effort into every shot. Instead of helping me, the current setup feels like a limitation.

Based on my research, I’m planning to move to a full custom setup focusing on price-to-performance:

Blade: Yinhe T-11+ (Balsa/Carbon)

Forehand: DHS Hurricane 3 Neo (kept from my current setup)

Backhand: Yinhe Moon Speed

My Playstyle:

I rely heavily on high-spin serves, looking to attack the third ball once the opponent pushes back. On the receiving end, I like to take the initiative with my backhand, so I’m looking for a non-tacky rubber that offers more "catapult effect" and control.

My Questions:

Does this combination make sense for an intermediate player?

Is the Yinhe T-11+ a good match for the Hurricane 3 Neo, or will it be too stiff?

Are there any other budget-friendly blades/rubbers you would recommend for this style?

Thanks in advance for your help!
