I found my first star note today

My sister in law works in the service industry, looking through her monthly accumulation of tips, we found a star note, and what I initially thought was a bookend dollar (was wrong) but what on the my currency collection site gave it a 95% coolness factor. I really liked the way the serial looked on it though.

Curious question

I’ve been watching this sub for a short time now, seeing all the cool finds and some not so cool ones.

Has anyone ever found a mismatched serial number error? Where the serial number in the left doesn’t match that on the right?

Is that a thing that ever happens?
