Hey All, im trying to mount a chair in a certain position and the bolts have come through into this box, can I just carry on drilling and bolt onto this with a 10mm steel plate?

There will be another 2 bolts on the opposite side through the sheet metal with another steel plate as well.

Any help would be grand
