Hey y’all! I’m wondering about how good of a deal this is, and if a 2008 ford focus se is still something I could buy. It’s got 128,000 miles, clean title, and they’re asking for 3500. Apparently, they’ve also done water pump, timing belt, and thermostat. Seems like a good deal, and that they’re reliable, and it’s before the next gen, where the tranny is terrible. Thoughts y’all?

Hey y’all! I’m in the market for a new car, and I keep hearing about the reliability of the fusion hybrid. I’m tempted by a burgundy 2017 ford fusion energi titanium. It has 77k miles, clean title, and they’re asking 11k. The only thing holding me back is they say they have 8-14 miles of full electric, which makes me worried if the HV battery is pretty degraded.
Ideally, I’d get a pre purchase inspection, but I’m just wondering if this is a good deal before I proceed. I know transmissions are still a weak point, even after 2015, which also gives me pause.
I’d just love to hear everyone out on how reliable these are, specifically the hybrid/energi models, and how much charge they still hold, and if the deal is a good one. Thank you!
