I am 51, and have been listening to music since I was 7 (AC/DC, Kiss, Iron Maiden). Then, as a teenager (The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order), then as an adult (Oasis, Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, Muse, etc.), and all the rest of the music I have listened to. For some reason, never ever paid attention to Black Sabbath and Ozzy (I still don’t know why), but since I discovered them (once Ozzy passed away), got curious and began to listen to him and Black Sabbath, and fuck how wrong I was... specifically Black Sabbath with Ozzy, totally changed my life and the way I appreciate their amazing and unique music. How they sound live, Geezer's bass, Iommi's dark, heavy and uniques riffs, Ozzy's voice. Now, all the other bands that I have listened to through my life, seem to me like “just another band I like”, except for The Cure. So, God bless Black Sabbath (Tony Iommi, Geezer), Ozzy and The Cure. 💜🦇🎸🤘🏼
PS. Black Sabbath's The End live concert is, so far to me, the best live concert I have watched/listened to, second one is The Cure's Hyde Park 40th Anniversary and The Cure's at Roxy London Theatre in 2024.
