I'm looking at an aferiy ps240 battery plug in solar setup to go on my shed roof. Now I have the main consumer unit in the house, and then I'll have a 10mm armered cable feeding the shed with a separate smaller consumer unit in that shed.
I'm looking at getting a smart meter installed at the same time as the shed been wired. So I can use the automatic mode on the aferiy ps240.
Automatic Mode (with Smart Meter): When paired with a compatible smart meter (e.g., Shelly Pro 3EM), the PS240 can automatically detect home power consumption. It will discharge to supply the home when energy is needed and stop feeding back to the grid if configured, or, it can manage feeding excess solar power back to the grid
Now my question is do I get the smart meter installed on the main consumer unit or the secondary one in the shed. Most power will probably be used in the house.
And can anyone recommend witch one to get. Looking at the shelly pro 3em.
