I am trying to play the game, with money on and the rest of the simulation mechanics on (though no milestones). Not going for historical precision, or ultra-detailing. However, I am trying to evolve the towns naturally and based on what might have happened in history.

Starting with Oxmouth, on the shoreline, at the mouth of the river, and Oxbridge, inland at an important river crossing.

In this pre-industrial start, heavy industry and the railroad have not arrived yet. There are about 2,500 population between the two towns. Now I am trying to figure out what comes next...
