I’ve been on Zepbound since Nov 2023, down 150 lbs with 20-25 to go. I’ve been on 15 a little over a year. Shortly after moving to 15 I stalled and bounced around +/- 8 lbs for a year. During that time it almost felt like it was no longer working, no appetite suppression and inflammation was returning. I continued to do cardio and strength training regularly and tracking what I ate but admittedly went over on calories at least once a week as I was just darn hungry. I visited my doctor and she said I may have just hit my max loss or my body was hitting a new set point. I kept with it since my insurance was continuing to cover Zepbound.
About a month ago the appetite suppression returned, it was shortly after getting vein ablation on my legs, maybe correlated but maybe not, but my inflammation in my legs definitely went down post vein ablation, I’m now losing again and I’ve even upped my calories slightly to realistic level to be able to maintain being in a calorie deficit.
Point of this is, yes stalls are super frustrating but keep at it. If you feel the medicine is no longer helping, keep at it. Talk to your doctor, maybe there is something underlying that could be impacting your body. At least for me Zepbound appears to have started working again after a year of it feeling like it was no longer effective.
